A Very MINI Family New MINI Club In The Pacific NW The Salish Sea MINI Motoring Club is a club for enthusiasts who enjoy MINI Coopers, the twisty roads of the scenic Pacific Northwest and meeting other MINI owners. On the Second Saturday or Second Sunday of each month, we meet at different coffee shops through out the area to greet old and meet new friends. After our caffeine intake and check- ing out the latest modifications that make a MINI truly unique, then it’s off to check out some of the favorite roads in the area. In addition to the Second Saturday/Sunday runs, we have Here’s a picture of our Mini family. On the left is my sons 2006 Cooper, center is my grandson Luke’s MINI electric and my ‘05 Cabrio. Not pictured is my brother’s ’09 JCW and daughter’s ‘09 Clubman S. My Cabrio is MINI number six for me. Previous cars have included a 2006 GP(#153). I hated to part with it, but I needed car with a back seat. I enjoy reading every issue of MC2 very much, and look forward to reading Mini Cindy's column and the tech articles, which are a great source of information for me. Liz Smarter Salish Sea MINI Motoring Club Update On The Jet-Powered MINI Just thought I’d send MC2 an update on my Jet-powered MINI that you featured way back, in Issue 12. The air intake Looking For A New Sway Bar First off, I appreciate your writings and the job you are doing with the magazine - I look forward to getting my new edition when it comes in the mail each time! I am looking to buy a rear sway bar for my R53, 2004 MINI Cooper S and I couldn't remember what issue that article was in. Could you refer me to that issue OR give my your opinion as to what brand and specific diameter would be best. I want to flatten out the rear end of my MINI for rallies with REME and rarely will take my MINI to the track (Thunderhill in Woodland, CA). Any information you could give me would be very helpful.
