My favorite is the MINI “Start” badge...and the "hi", flower power, and (as every MINI owner knows) “We love our MINIS”. The photo of the Mini convoy in the upper right corner of page 25 is actually mine, taken at Lime Rock in 1979 just before some parade laps I organized for a ground. Peter Braun Southport, NC MUM’s The Word I thought I would drop MC2 a note to let you know that as of this month Mini-sota’s two MINI/ Mini clubs, SotaMINIs and MMPEAPSHA (Mini- sota Minis, Pizza Eating And Psychiatric Self-Help Association) in a show of unity, have officially and permanently joined forces as M.U.M. (Minnesota United Minis.) The two former clubs are disbanding and the new one will carry on. M.U.M., as you may recall, was created to host MMEMW 2009. It will now be Minnesota’s only Mini club. We hope that as a combined club with a larger membership, that we can be a lot more organized. Our first official event this year will be the New London to New Brighton MINI run 2011 on Saturday, May 21st 2011. 14 www.mc2magazine.com in addition to a 1972 Mini Pickup yet under construction, and a ‘62 Morris Mini Special that even runs! Betty and I bought the Moke from Bob Dickens of Livingston, Montana. He has owned six or seven Mokes among the 20 some classic Mini’s he has owned during his lifetime.
