__________________________________________ MINIs for Kids Poker Run clubs & events hildren are one of the most important things in life to any culture. MINIs for Kids (Founded by Ed and Robyn Purves), also firmly believes this and is dedicated to raising funds, as well as awareness for criti- cally ill children. One of the major local charities MINIs for Kids supports is the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House. This past October 2nd, MINIs For Kids organized a fantastic all day event, comprised of games, raffles, a car show, laughs and smiles and culminating in a poker run ending in Big Bear. The event went off without a hitch and Ronald McDonald himself made an appearance, and even helped hand out raffle and car show prizes. MINI of Ontario is extremely honored to have been chosen as this year’s host as were several other participating vendors and sponsors such as Vinyl Styles, Morrison Mobile Coffee House, Irma’s Tacos, Stuck on MINIs, Absolutely Dentless, Cool MINI Stuff, MC2 Magazine, MINI USA and N-M Engineering, along with San Bernardino County Sheriff Department. Approximately 70 MINIs participated in the poker run and helped spread the MINI cheer from MINI of Ontario and ending at Starbucks in Big Bear. Over 150 people attended MINIs for Kids. The event raised about $5000 for the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House.
